The name Elise Lee is a combo of our middle names- cooler than anything else we thought of. We love photography and everything this ever-evolving art form has to offer. We believe every couple, every family, every person has a beautiful, life-changing story to tell. We want to put it on film.

Melissa and Jasper... preview.

I met Mel a few months ago at our fabulous workplace. She came on to my shift from the ER to work days. Ironically, her honey is a nurse as well, so it was nice to see them in a setting that didn't involve scrubs and work since that's the only way we know each other. Melissa told me a thousand times how un-photogenic she is, but as you can see below, that's not the case. They are expecting their first little one in November!

New Chair and Sarah.


So, I (Stephanie) bought this new chair for just a few dollars the other day at Ye Olde Local Junk Store and loved it up with some red paint and and here it is. For you to look at. I know you're thinking, this is... just a chair. But it serves a purpose in this post. Props like a chair or a scarf or your favorite fill-in-the-blank here make your pictures more... you. And that's absolutely essential. 


You're original, the only one like you.  Ever. That's epic. Shouldn't your pictures be?

Molly Maternity

My best friend is having a BABY GIRL!!!! In less than six weeks, Princess Anguish will make her debut and Aunt Steph can't wait to meet her. In the meantime, Molly is growing and glowing as a pregnant woman. Her are just a few shots of her.

Kerr Family.

A couple of weeks ago, Steffani asked us to take some family pictures and shots of her one-year old son Archie. Archie comes from a long line of good-looking people so he is very photogenic when he wants to be. We will shoot with them again in the fall. Enjoyed this fun Saturday morning!

Molly's Wedding

Stephanie's best friend, Molly, was married to another good friend of ours, Brian on April 24, 2010. It was a gorgeous wedding and a crazy three day weekend full of carb-happy food, friends, decorating, steaming, running, no sleeping whatsoever and enjoying each other. It all happened in a short time so there was lots to do, but it all came to fabulous end when they were walking down the aisle, married.  This seems to be the year of weddings for us! 3 more to go for us this year and we couldn't be happier for all our newly engaged/married friends!


These are all behind-the-scenes pictures as Steph was maid of honor in this wedding, but there's a story in every one.


Yeah, this is blurry. It's probably because I was laughing so hard I was snorting. Not an opportune moment to snap a picture. This was taken at Cypress Street Grill in Abilene the night before Molly's wedding. The bridesmaids and I took Molly out for dessert and lingerie for her last hoorah as a single woman. Mind you, there will be many more proverbial hoorah's, but you get the idea. One of my many gifts to her was a moomoo. Because every good woman needs a moomoo. 



Can you blame her? Did you see the picture above this one? It was a dessert evening of epic proportions. As it should've been. : ]

This is Stacey, mother of the groom, and Audrey, flower girl extraordinaire.












Turns out she found her very own Prince Charming and that glass slipper (or size 5 1/2 Steve Madden pump) fit just right. Here's to fairy tales, cake and champagne and real live happy endings. Love you Anguish's!

Gillian's First Birthday.

Gillian's Bammaw, Christine, asked us to take pictures of Gillian on her first birthday before her big party. We didn't shoot for very long, but we did end up with some too-sweet shots of Gillian. She is on her way to being a little heartbreaker. Boys, watch out!
